How to Report a Working or Failed Coupon

Share an actual checkout result, update an earlier report and help other shoppers understand an offer.

Community feedback helps explain what happened when shoppers tried a coupon. A useful report starts with your own checkout attempt. You do not need to complete a purchase to see whether a code applies, but you should check the actual result before choosing Yes or No.

Test the coupon against the offer conditions

Read the stated restrictions and use the correct merchant website. Build the order you intended to place, enter the code and apply it. Check the order summary for the expected discount.

If the code requires selected products or a minimum eligible spend, take those rules into account. A rejected code on an ineligible basket is different from a code that fails despite meeting the stated conditions.

Sign in and return to the coupon

Reporting requires a signed-in account. If you are signed out, use the sign-in link in the Store’s Reviews section, then return to the coupon you tested.

Open the coupon’s community reports panel. This panel is separate from the main coupon card: clicking elsewhere on the card opens the offer, while the panel provides the Yes/No reporting controls.

Choose the result that matches your experience

  • Yes: you applied the code and the relevant discount appeared on your order.
  • No: you tried the code and it did not apply to your order.

Do not report success because you copied the code or opened the merchant’s website. Do not report failure simply because the headline offer is less generous than you expected. The question is whether the code worked in your checkout attempt.

For an incorrect description or missing restriction, send the details through our Help page. That gives the team more context than a Yes/No result alone.

Update your report if your result changes

Each member has one current report per coupon. If you later find that the code works after correcting your basket, submit Yes again. If an earlier success is followed by a failed attempt, you can update the report to No.

Your latest result replaces your earlier result. Repeated submissions do not create additional votes for the same account and coupon.

Understand what changes after reporting

Your saved result contributes to the coupon’s Health Score. Health is the percentage of current reports marked Yes, rounded to a whole number. A new report can move the percentage up or down depending on the existing results.

Reporting does not automatically apply a Verified badge, remove a listing or change the Store’s star rating. Those are separate parts of the website.

Keep Store reviews separate from coupon results

A Store rating describes your experience with the merchant. A coupon report describes an individual code. You might have a good delivery experience even if one promotional code failed, or a working code despite a disappointing customer-service experience.

Store ratings are reviewed before appearing publicly. For coupon feedback, focus on the outcome you personally observed. Honest, specific reporting helps the next shopper make a better-informed choice.
